Introduction and Conclusion Outline


Purpose

This is the most important piece of information you will learn in this class. Choosing how to start a speech or presentation is often the hardest part of the preparation. With the information you will learn here in this class, you will have something that will work in every setting. You may find a better way to start or conclude a speech, but this is guaranteed to work in every situation.


Use it, become familiar with it, and it will either work for you or open up your creativity and springboard you to a better approach.

Specific Information

Using a topic of the teacher's or the student's choice, demonstrate knowledge of introductions and conclusions. The class will drill these until they are automatic for the class and can be accomplished in a matter of seconds. We will create introductions and conclusions in class until everyone demonstrates the ability to start and end a speech on a variety of topics.
